GENTLY COOKED CANINE Heart Health RECIPE (Used in the Video):

• 1 lb. Beef, either cubed or ground
• 1 lb. Beef Heart
• 3 oz. Beef Liver
• 1-2 Sardines (canned in water, low sodium) - add at time of feeding
• 2 Eggs
• 4 oz. Carrots, grated
• 2 oz. Kale, finely chopped
• 1 Tablespoon Ginger Root, fresh, grated
• Water

WARNING: Make sure everything used is no salt or low sodium

NOTE: Please check with your veterinarian, before changing the diet of your pet or adding/removing supplements.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANINE GENTLY COOKED FOOD:
Gently cook (I use a slow cooker on low 6-8 hours for thawed meat)
Once cooked and then cooled enough to work with it, grind/mix all ingredients together (I use a food processor). Use within 3-5 days, freeze any amount that cannot be used within that time. Warm each serving to room temperature before feeding.

SUPPLEMENTS (added after cooked & cooled, or individually per meal) – see below for brands used:
• Canine Vitamin supplement (follow package recommended serving per dog)
• Canine Mineral Supplement (follow package recommended serving per dog)

• Mushroom Extract Powder (follow package recommended serving per dog)

FEEDING SUGGESTIONS:
--Feed 2-3% of your dog’s body weight per day. As an example, if you have a 20-pound (9 kg) dog, you will feed it 6.4 ounces (181.4 g) to 9.6 ounces (272.2 g) daily. If you have an 80-pound (36.3 kg) dog, you will feed it between 25.6 oz. (725.7 g) to 38.4 oz (1088.6 g). (Please check with your veterinarian, for specific feeding amounts for your pet).
