Meaning:
You are the protector during danger
You are the protector of the helpless

You are the wish-fulfilling tree
You are the divine Kamadhenu (who grants all we need)
O Kasthuri Ranga who resides on the banks of the Kaveri

When the king of elephants
Caught in the clutches of a crocodile
Cried out to the Supreme One
It is You, the One adorned by crocodile-shaped earrings, who came running

When the five Pandavas played dice
And made their wife, who had come to them for protection, a slave
As the crowd of kings stood relishing their disgrace
You showed that You were there for them and gave protection
