Hobi touched many hearts when he sweetly told an ARMY not to cry during his concert. In the past, however, his initial reaction was to imitate a crying fan.

Hobi was confused when Filipino ARMY started chanting something during HOTS in Manila.

Hobi couldn't help but imitate ARMY during his Hope On The Stage tour. And his favorite to imitate is ARMY's reaction.

Hobi was confused when Filipino ARMY started chanting something during HOTS in Manila.. The crowd was chanting "walang uuwi," which means "no one is going home." Hobi had no clue what ARMY were saying at the time, so he just imitated them. The translator explained to Hobi what the chant meant, and he teasingly said he should just stay then.

We cannot talk about Hobi's imitation of ARMY without mentioning the "Oppa" moments. It started with him finding international ARMY's spelling for "Oppa" to be cute. But it quickly turned into a full-blown imitation. Hobi had definitely switched his sassy mode on during his tour.

Remember that "weeee" imitation that Hobi did earlier? It kinda reminds me of the time he judged an ARMY's artwork lol You see, Hobi had been imitating ARMY for a long time and things have not changed at all.

BANGTANTV previously uploaded videos for 2025 FESTA featuring Jin and Hobi. Jin's character was a news anchor, and Hobi's was... ARMY.

Hobi's imitation was quite on point -- the excitement, disbelief. etc. He even has a bias! However, his imitation became painfully inaccurate during the ticketing part. Thirty minutes?? Just so you know, Hobi, it took me HOURS to have a chance to secure a ticket for your solo concert and I failed at my three-day attempts for HOTS in Manila. I mean, look at my number!
