If ever there was a ship done dirty by pop history, that ship would be HMS Barham. Her sinking happening to be caught on film has led to her being used for many a stock footage scene. That wouldn't be a terrible fate, if not for the fact she is so often used for unrelated topics.

How many people know that exploding battleship was HMS Barham?

And that doesn't even touch on the fact that she gave excellent service at Jutland, and even in the early stages of World War Two.
