This is the tragic story of Lhorke, once Legion Master of the War Hounds, who awoke entombed in a Dreadnought aboard the Conqueror—only to discover that his Legion had become the blood-mad World Eaters.

When the Shadow Crusade tore through Ultramar, the Conqueror was left undermanned, abandoned by Astartes lost to Angron’s Nails. Shipmistress Lotara Sarrin turned to the only strength remaining the forgotten Dreadnoughts. Among them was Lhorke, a warrior who had once fought for brotherhood and loyalty, now roused into a nightmare of betrayal.

Confused by the sight of Ultramarines as foes, Lhorke soon realized the truth: his Legion no longer served the Emperor. The War Hounds he once led had fallen, twisted into Angron’s butchers. Still, he fought—not for Chaos, not for glory, but for survival, and for the memory of an oath broken by his brothers.
