Dewalt DCF899 vs W7150 size comparison

Описание к видео Dewalt DCF899 vs W7150 size comparison

I'm not an expert in impact wrenches but here is a size comparison video between the Dewalt DCF899 20V XR and the Ingersoll Rand W7150 20v 1/2" drive impact wrenches. You can see they have similar width and height but the IR is longer. The protective boot cover on the IR is not really that thick so I don't think it is adding to the length. The battery on the IR is the BL2010 3.0 Ah and the battery on the Dewalt is the 5.0Ah DCB205.

The only obvious things I noticed don't really have anything to do with the impacts but are on the batteries. On the dewalt you have to press and hold the flat button on the battery to see how many LED light up for remaining power. On the Ingersoll rand iqv20 batteries you just tap the raised button and the lights stay on for a couple of seconds which is much easier in my opinion, especially with gloves. Also the fuel gauge LED's on the IR are on the front vs on the Dewalt batteries the LED's are on the back.

The Ingersoll rand w7150 does come with a nice case.
The Dewalt has a very bright LED which the IR doesn't.
I couldn't really notice the difference in weight , they are both big impact wrenches.

I can't imagine buying one of these beasts to take off lug nuts from your daily driver sedan because they are pretty big.
