The raptor with the bewitching ruby eyes! I had the privilege of meeting this adult Black-winged Kite perched & resting in the early evening. It took off to hunt later as the evening went by. Much to my delight, it hover-hunted for some time, choosing to hunt in the same area.
Black-winged Kites are uncommon residents in Singapore.
