Brass

a kinetic sculpture. built from repurposed bits and bobs, wood, metal and plastic

a brass sheet flexes back and forth
in so doing, its proximity to an antenna alters the pitch of a theremin
in addition, the movement is sliding a linear potentiometer wired to the delay time of a PT2399 echo through which the theremin plays
the brass sheet is also the 'speaker', having a transducer stuck to it
there are pots for speed, pitch and echo adjustment

*the string drone machine runs through a delay and into a guitar amp
