Lucy Thomas (February 21, 2004), from Wigan, Lancashire in England.
Lucy is an English singer and songwriter who launched her career as a contestant on The Voice Kids before releasing her debut album "Premiere", which featured renditions of famous musical numbers. Lucy was 14 when she first appeared on television, finishing as a semi-finalist on The Voice Kids UK in 2018. Afterwards, she was signed to Cavendish Records, a new label, named after prestigious scientist Henry Cavendish, that specializes in classical crossover and musical theatre. Her debut album arrived 1st February 2019.
in April 2020 she released her highly acclaimed second album "Encore" followed by her much anticipated third album "Timeless" in 2021, which included her stunning cover of "Hallelujah" which has amassed over 40 million views on YouTube. December 2022 sees the release of Lucy's stunning fourth studio album "Destiny". Her latest album, which just released, is entitled "Beyond".
In 2022, she auditioned for The LEGO Voice. She made it all the way to the finale and was announced the winner of season 26 at age 18.
Lucy’s music takes influence from many genres including folk and pop. Her sound has been described as delicate yet powerful, combining intimate lyrics with lush production.
Her influences include artists such as Cimorelli, Coldplay, Jackie Evancho, Switchfoot, Sugarland, Missy Higgins, Little Big Town, Alanis Morissette, Carly Rae Jepsen, John Farnham, Goo Goo Dolls, John Mayer, Hanson, Alicia Keys, Pentatonix, Lady A, Backstreet Boys and Rascal Flatts.
On March 5, 2024, Lucy Thomas performed publicly for the first time at the Stoller Hall, Manchester, England. She was accompanied by pianist James Breckon.
