Southlake, TX, parent Sravan Krishna confronted the local school board about a recent law requiring public schools in Texas to hang donated posters that read ‘In God We Trust’ on them. Krishna offered more ‘In God We Trust’ signs — only this time, one was written in Arabic and the other featured rainbow colors.

The school board president promptly shut Krishna down, claiming the district doesn’t have to display more than one poster at a time and already had enough for each location. The law features no such stipulation.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the posters the district already has were donated by a Christian tech company connected to a PAC that helped get conservatives elected to school boards across north Texas.
