’घर में वापसी’ धूमिल की गरीबी में संघर्षरत परिवार की व्यथा-कथा प्रस्तुत करने वाली एक मार्मिक कविता है। इसमें कवि ने स्पष्ट किया है कि गरीबी एक अभिशाप है। यह समस्त रिशे-नातों के बीच एक दीवार खड़ी कर देती है। एक ही परिवार में बसने वाले लोग परस्पर अजनबी बन जाते हैं। यह इतना निराश बना देती है कि एक ही घर में बसने वाले लोग न एक-दूसरे से बात करते हैं और न ही अपना दुख एक-दूसरे के सामने प्रकट करते हैं। वे भीतर-ही-भीतर घुट-घुटकर रह जाते हैं। इसलिए कवि कहता है कि रिश्ते तो हैं।======================================================= 📢
