Queen Elizabeth Stayed Here & So Did We

It is told that both Queen Elizabeth II and President Jomo Kenyatta visited Castle Forest Lodge when they were students. The main house, where the restaurant is located was built in 1910 with rivers rocks and wood from the surrounding forest.

This lodge had very basic but very cozy accommodations. They also have good food and a variety of activities from fishing to horseback riding and of course forest walks.

Our only complaint was that the price per night was a little expensive for the type of food and accommodation you get.
