Super Mario Bros 3 "Overworld Theme" | Violin Cover & Cosplay | SMB3 NES

The primary overworld / above-ground theme from Super Mario Brothers 3, first heard in World 1, Level 1. The alternate overworld theme is titled "Athletic".

Super Mario 3 (SMB3) was first released on the original Nintendo NES / Famicom system and re-released/remastered multiple times on subsequent Nintendo platforms, for example as part of the "Super Mario All-Stars" compilation on SNES and later on Virtual Console (Wii, 3DS, Wii U) NES Classic and Switch. It was also notably featured / unveiled in the 1989 movie, "The Wizard" with Fred Savage, Luke Edwards and Jenny Lewis.

This is a solo strings / violin cover of the theme's primary melody, done in low-budget Mario cosplay / costume. I have also published a parallel cover video from SMB3 of all of the world themes:
