This tune was actually requested by someone in the comment section. Ol' DJstompaddict encouraged me to go ahead and he would make his own version once i sent him the tracks. Looking forward to hearing that version too. Yes, that's me in the footage playing the game. Yes, i did beat the level all on my own. Yes, i did use an emulator with save function. And yes, that's me playing the guitar lead. That one took me a while to nail down because I didn't like anything I was playing at the time. Still don't, but at least it doesn't suck as bad as it used to. Now that that's all out of the way, enjoy the music.

I don't own the rights to this music and all copyrights belong to Sega and the music composers Howard Drossin, Brian Coburn, and Barry Blum who wrote this in 1993. The story goes that shortly before this game was to be shipped out, the Sega team was notified that they didn't own the rights to the Sonic theme and had to come up with something on the fly. Howard Drossin wrote the Sonic Spinball theme with a 2 hour deadline to finish the game. I am simply paying homage to the music in this game in my own weird way. This "DERIVATIVE WORK" (look it up) is also covered under the current copyright laws and as long as I don't sell my work for money, I won't get a cease and desist letter from the copyright owners asking for their cut. Otherwise I gotta go pay for some licenses down at the ol' Harry Fox agency.I do a mix of video game covers and popular songs.
