The swearing in of Zambian President-elect Edgar Lungu has been postponed. The country's main opposition, the United Party for National Development, is planning to petition the Constitutional Court on Friday. It's disputing the outcome of the August 11 presidential polls. The Electoral Commission declared Lungu the winner with 50-point-35 percent of the total votes cast. Opposition leader Hakainde Hi-chilema garnered 47-point-67 percent of the votes.
