Hades 2 - 32 Fear Victory! (Early Access)

Pretty good build! Gotta love the Poseidon special with all the right hammers on witches staff + a decent cast with Zeus/Apollo combo. I was hoping for the duo boon they give but then it would have been too easy;)

I obviously am not a hades " main " player but I have played hades 1 for like 90 hours compared to my 2000 hours on Streets of Rage 4 lol... (32 heat clear max on that game) so ill give a few thoughts on this game so far even if its incomplete...

1. Hades 2 gameplay is better than Hades 1 in my opinion, everything is smoother and I prefer the weapons overall (I love the axe ESPECIALLY the aspect of Thanatos, and witches staff) I wont go into too much detail cause I could write an essay about why I like the gameplay more, but the main reason is that everything just feels more fluid. (Another minor reason is that Styx RNG does not exist anymore which is worth mentioning)

2. Hades 1 has better music overall hands down, other than the Sirens fight which has outstanding music of course.

3. Chronos has a higher learning curve than the Hades fight, but I think is a bit easier once you get the hang of it...Hades was brutal even if you knew what you were doing on extreme measures 4. However this game is in early access of course, and I do expect a fear modifier for the bosses in the future maybe?

4. The surface is awesome and I love the new chaos challenges, gives a lot more to do than Hades 1 did!

5. I was a bit sad there was no coop:( This franchise is already super popular already, but coop would have elevated it to untouchable god status tier.

6. I do not like the Eris " Strife " mechanic AT ALL! All it is is a shot in the foot to speedrunners and talented gamers which is awful. I do hope that if a hell mode gets released in the future that the strife mechanic will get taken out of that mode. If they want people to not " skip " story by beating the game too fast just put hell mode behind a clear on the normal version of the game before its unlocked.

I am happy with what I am seeing in early access, cant wait for the full game!
