POLYCET-2026 (Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET), Telangana for admission into Diploma Courses for the academic year 2026–27.

Through POLYCET-2026, students can get admission into Engineering and Non-Engineering Diploma courses offered by Government, Aided, Private and Unaided Polytechnics in Telangana. This exam is also applicable for Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary, and Fisheries Diploma courses offered by PJTAU, SKLTGHU and PVNRTVU.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed SSC (10th Class) or its equivalent recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana are eligible. Students appearing for SSC-2026 and compartment candidates can also apply, but must pass all subjects before admission.

🔹 Application Process & Fee

Applications are accepted through online mode at designated coordinating centres.
• General / BC / OC Candidates: ₹500
• SC / ST Candidates: ₹250

🔹 Important Dates
• Online Application Start Date: 02-02-2026
• Last Date without Late Fee: 20-04-2026
• Exam Date: 13-05-2026
• Results: Within 12 days after the exam

🔹 Exam & Rank Details

POLYCET-2026 will be conducted using OMR sheets.
• Polytechnic Diploma Rank is based on Maths, Physics, and Chemistry marks.
• Agriculture / Veterinary / Horticulture Rank is based on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Biology is optional).

Admissions will be conducted through Web Counselling based on rank, reservation rules, and candidate preferences. A single POLYCET application is valid for Polytechnic admissions.
