For our 52nd anniversary, we decided to take a cruise to Alaska. We had not been to Whittier before, so we decided on the sea/land Travel with Alan (TWA) on the Vancouver to Fairbanks trip. We had a great time and did some things we had not done before (especially the Bering Sea crab boat experience). We flew back from Fairbanks. The one negative was the forest fire that started right after we got to Denali. They closed the National Park and turned off the power and water at our hotel which made things significantly more difficult, especially with my LVAD.
