BMW E36 Touring Drift Car w/ M50 Straight-6 Turbo Engine in action!

With this video I bring you back to 2019 when I attended the first round of the Drift Kings Europe Series held at Castelletto Circuit, in Italy. In the last days I was looking in my old folders if I had something 'different' to publish and I noticed I totally put aside any drifting-related material.

I have to be honest, lately it's something I'm not going crazy for as years ago. I probably need to look at something pleasant for a change and fly to Japan to watch some real drifting action, but one thing I will always love about this discipline is the peculiarity of those drift builds. I just can't hate this thing. On the contrary! Sometimes it makes me sad (and mad) to see a very interesting drift car being driven really bad, making me avoid posting related stuffs.

One of the cars that caught my attention that day is definitely the BMW E36 Touring of the French driver Mathieu 'The Viking' Bareyt ‪@VikingsMachineDrift‬ . I don't remember correctly if his car was powered by a modified and turbocharged 2.5-litre M50B25 straight-6 engine, stroked up to 2.8-litre, or it was a turbocharged 2.8-litre M52B28 unit. The power output was around 550-600hp.
