Americans React Taste Test - U.S. vs Italy Junk Food Edition | Life In Sicily

We're Jenn and Matt and we bought a 31 room abandoned palazzo on the slopes of a volcano in Sicily. Join us for this restoration journey as we bring it back to life with the help of many, many wonderful Sicilians and others from around the globe. It's a big project but we're excited to bring this beautiful home back to life as our new home in Piedimonte Etneo, Sicily and to be able to share it with the local community. Living in Sicily isn't always a piece of cake but the highs are definitely outweighing the lows. Living in Italy is an experience we never dreamed we would have and now it's our new normal.

On the lighter side of life in Italy, we share one of the things that seems like the biggest difference between our old lives in the US and our new lives in Italy... FOOD. In this video we are sharing a few of the brands that are available in both countries that we think have a difference in taste or appearance, or both. What have you tried that are available in both countries. Fanta is such a quintessential drink here in Italy and we will get it often (when not enjoying a glass of wine or a local beer). However, we really have never had US Fanta! Have ideas for other things we should try, let us know in the comments! And don't worry, these do not represent what we are eating here day to day. Our meals usually include a trip to the market and butcher every day or two to make fresh, homemade meals. We can't wait to have our own kitchen so that we can really experiment more with all the fantastic foods here in Sicily!
