 ONE MURDER CASE PAROLE JUMPER ARRESTED BY ANTI NARCOTICS SQUAD EAST DISTRICT.
 ONE ILLEGAL COUNTRY MADE PISTOL; ONE LIVE CARTRIDGE RECOVERED.

BRIEF: -
A special drive against crime and criminals is underway in the East District. The operations wing of East District, including the Anti-Narcotics Squad, was specially directed to patrol in plain clothes in East District and work against the budding criminals, illegal weapon holders, drug peddlers, etc. A team from the Anti-Narcotics Squad, East District, consisting of Insp. Arun Kumar, I/C Anti-Narcotics Squad East, SI Deepak, SI Rahul, SI Sanjeev, ASI Devendra, ASI Arun, HC Amit, HC Devesh, HC Pradeep Sharma, HC Vivek, led by ACP/OPS Sh. Pawan Kumar was constituted under my supervision. Accordingly, the ANS staff initiated sincere efforts by sensitizing local informers and collecting human intelligence, Consequently, the patrolling was intensified/mounted at the vulnerable areas for prevention and detection in the area.

INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION: -
On the intervening night of 7-8/5/2025, the Anti-Narcotics Squad, East District, received secret information that one criminal, namely Arman, was coming to Utsav Ground, IP Extension, Delhi, and was carrying an illegal weapon. Acting on the information, at around 8:40 PM, the raiding team of ANS set up a trap at Utsav Ground, IP Extension, Delhi, and one person was spotted at the instance of the informer. On seeing the police team coming towards him, He had tried to flee from the spot, but the team had intercepted & overpowered him. On his cursory search, one Country Made Pistol with 1 live Cartridge was recovered from his possession. The person was later identified as Arman R/o Gagan Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP, Age 26 Years. During investigation, it was found that the accused “Arman” was obtained “Parole” in Murder Case vide FIR No.1121/2022 u/s 302/120B/34 IPC & 25 Arms ACT PS Aman Vihar, Delhi and was to surrender in Tihar Jail on 4.5.2025 but he jumped the parole and was hiding himself. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 154/25 dated 8/05/2025 u/s 25/54/59 Arms ACT, was registered at PS Madhu Vihar, Delhi, and the accused “Arman” was arrested and investigation was initiated. Further investigation is underway.

Occupation: - He doesn’t work anything.
Previous Involvements: - He has two previous involvements in criminal cases.
RECOVERY: -
1. One illegal Country made pistol.
2. One live cartridge.
