Creek Lounging with an American Akita Dog on a Beautiful June Day

Low 70s, mostly cloudy, low-mid humidity.

Even though I have plans tonight, I couldn't stand sitting around the house on this gorgeous day. We won't have many of these days left for awhile, as we are approaching 90+ degree high humidity Saint Louis weather very soon.

That's the one thing I hate about Missouri. Missouri is a beautiful State, and there is a TON of stuff to do. Lake cruising, camping, clubs, bars, hiking, outdoor restaurants, karaoke, rivers, formal events, sight seeing, monuments, Cardinals, wildlife, historical sights, and an endless amount of things. You can get city life, country life, suburban life, and more all within a short distance.

You can be in large crowded and hopping areas, and you can be in remote quiet areas. It really has almost everything... but I absolutely cannot stand the high humidity when it's 90+ degrees. I like outdoors, but the best time for that is Spring and Fall. Even Winter is more tolerable than Summer here, in my opinion.

Anyways, today was a nice day that I didn't want to waste, even though no one else wanted to go with me. I'm not one to rely on others, so I grabbed my cooler, my lawn chair, my Bluetooth portable radio, my dog, and hit up Indian Camp Creek Park.

For the first hour it was just Kinjo and I, but then people started flooding in. Stayed about 3 hours, but had to head back to get ready to hit the Westport Landing tonight.
