That's the first time that I do a boss where I was doubting, until the last second, about doability.

9/9 Challenge Mode soloed. The dream is accomplished !
Yeah, to situate this boss in comparison with the others Challenge boss, there's Harlan, on one side, and there's the others, on the other side. Actually, Harlan is a step beyond what Whitemane, Raigonn and Sha of Doubt are.

To describe a bit the encounter, this one is divided through what we can consider as being ''two phases'', which are both divided in two under-phases : the Harlan melee phase, and the whirling one.

P1 lasts till 50% HP. The fight is brutal. It's all about management, but with impossibility to use CDs. 32 seconds fighting Harlan + adds. 22 seconds of whirling, breathing time, and anticipation of the next Harlan phase.

At 50%, the boss gains a berserk buff. This increases his damages for 2%/stack. In Heroic difficulty, stacks were limited to 50, which hurted a lot, but were quite survivable. In Challenge Mode difficulty, they reach the double : 100 ! That means that Ri'mok (3rd boss of Gate of the Setting Sun), - which had the most violent melees through Challenge mode - hited me for roughly 100K/melee. Here, Harlan full stacks hits me for 200k+/melee. Without a perfect CD rotation + disarm, it's unbearable. Fighting H Garrosh would be a good comparison.

Consequently, at 50%, a terrible DPScheck/SurvivalCheck starts. It's all about ''surviving 3 melee phases with Harlan, and then kill him before get killed''. Nothing more. All CDs are used during the 3rd melee phase. It's just brutal survival, with a lot of reaction through the use of healing spheres that have to be kept for this moment only.

Very close from Heroic Spine in terms of difficulty.
112 wipes, considering the fact I had a pretty weak will to attempt the boss (thought it was impossible, it was nearly, considering the lucky dodge/parry at the end). I spent more time elaborating strategies through timing, numbers, gear optimisation, positioning, adds to keep alive out of the whirling in order to generate EB stacks, possibility or not to kite the boss, and so on...
