Was watching Arcadum from the start of the Tops followed over from the LNC as had watched them for years as a lurker, Snake DMing Iso was the first time actually seeing what DnD was opposed to how it was put across as crazy nerd weird stuff from shows and movies back when, only started watching Arcadums other groups from Heart of Tyre as felt had to, to understand full context for everything found some cool people so happy from that. When Arcadum posted on discord for a youtube editor I went back and forth should, I should I not, for ages as I enjoy editing but didn't think I was good or more so what I was doing added much to the content itself outside of just cutting down the vod and putting together like. Ended up deciding I would for to make something creative, more so finish something, as was in a rut, I work full time so that weekend after work I set myself the goal to make this and submit by Monday, took late nights and early mornings but did it. Months passed and never heard anything back and I was fine with that hoped he showed Russ it, was happy I could say I made it to my deadline I set myself and was proud of it (messed up rendering having Goku SS3 yell on the wrong track in the timeline so its much louder in this than meant to be ha). Months later decided fuck it ill make it public may as well as no obligation not to and someone else may like this so that'd be cool too, seeing people like it was surreal honestly. I never posted it to the Reddit myself cause seen the rule "no self-promo" and again because of that gremlin in my ear saying its not even my content I've just shorted the vod and threw in some memes so I left it, someone else put it up and to see more people seem to like it was very cool.
I decided for this moment because Morc was/still is my favourite character, growing from a simple almost joke character, hey its Jon Arbuckle in DnD haha, into a lot more fleshed out, very principled protector for those he cared for, plus Russ is a cool dude and hoped he'd get to see it and like it, seeing he seen this like the month after it was public blew me away honestly that quickly not even on the Reddit at the time.
After all the shit that happened with Cryaotic also, I felt the same way looking back at early Tops as I do with Arcadum and his games now, couldn't separate the person from the creation as always remember what they did. I tried to cut down and cut out as much of him as I could in this as to make it easier to rewatch myself honestly was a factor. I haven't uploaded anything since but I was in the middle of chipping away, in my free time off work and when I could find the motivation, on both an animated music video, like burd did of warriors of Tyre, of the Indigo trails and also a Neve/changeling video from the reveal that changelings being mirrors in Verum where I was going through the TOPS campaign in order to show each time Neve changed when Moe was looking at her history.
It was mainly like a memory lane thing as I thought it was a cool moment but It's not polished or finished and don't think I will ever go back to finish it because I can't stomach rewatch through the campaigns now knowing the kind of person Arcadum actually was and more of what was happening behind the sense to the players but if anyone wants it they can, it will just never be finished by me.
The animation thing was something I had in my head from back when the indigo crap happened was a slog so much boss combat one after the other and could feel it draining on the players too so was trying to get myself to do something for them as a long time lurker not being one to speak up in chat or anything and watching vods more so, bought a drawing tablet to push myself to draw again as hadn't in many years, bought clip studio ex software to incentives me to actually do it because spent a bit of money now so sunken cost fallacy right, had it fully storyboarded in my head and bullet-pointed on notes, only started actually storyboarding it recently but same as the video I've no motivation to go back to especially knowing that wasn't a good time for the players.

I loved the Tops and the other characters in this world for the players that brought them to life, Arcadum didn't make them what they are but I find it hard to separate art from the artist I've found, my brain keeps reminding me. I don't know it's real late, I'm very tired and I've just been word vomiting all this at this point support the victims in this none of them should have had to put up with his shit
