Mettet Circuit Layout 1928 - 1990 Onboard POV with map

Описание к видео Mettet Circuit Layout 1928 - 1990 Onboard POV with map

Mettet circuit, layout 1928 - 1990. An onboard lap at the orginal Mettet street circuit, with map and indicator.

We drive the fastest version of the original 8.4 Km/5.2 Miles long track. The street circuit included four artificial high banked corners. That made it a street circuit with the character of a permanent race track.

The Mettet circuit is most known for it's motorcycle races, but in the 50's there were also Formual Two races. Under the winners names like Alberto Ascari and Stirling Moss.

This fast street circuit in Belgium was operational from 1928 to 2009. Today it is replaced by a permanent race track inside the old street circuit.

During filming this lap with my Mazda MX-3 V6 there was a very funny scene with a tracktor and a very fast Renault Alpine :)
