Continuing our series of Top Selling SUV's of All sizes, we present to you the ownership review of the Kia Sonet as Episode 2. Kia Sonet is one of the Top 10 Selling Sub Compact SUV's (Jan-Nov).

Kia Sonet price starts at ₹ 8 Lakh and top model price goes upto ₹ 15.77 Lakh. Sonet is offered in 29 variants - the base model of Sonet is HTE and the top model Kia Sonet X-line Diesel AT.

The Kia Sonet is offered in eleven broad variants: HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+, and X-Line. There’s also a new Gravity edition based on the HTK Plus trim that is available with multiple engine-gearbox options.

The HTK+ is the most value for money variant, with multiple engine and transmission options on offer. It also gets all the creature comforts such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a sunroof, keyless entry, rear defogger, 6 speakers and more.

The 2024 Kia Sonet is available in 3 engine options. The options are:
-1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol - 5-speed manual transmission
-1-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol - 6-speed clutch-pedal less manual (iMT) or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT)
-1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel - 6-speed manual, 6-speed clutch(pedal)-less manual (iMT) or 6-speed automatic

The Sonet’s safety kit includes Level 1 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, and blind spot monitoring, 6 airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera, all-wheel disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The Sonet is available in 8 monotone colours, including Imperial Blue, Pewter Olive, Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Intense Red, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, and Matte Graphite. Dual-tone colour includes an Intense Red colour with an Aurora Black Pearl roof, and a Glacier White Pearl colour with an Aurora Black Pearl roof. The X Line variant gets an Aurora Black Pearl and an Xclusive Matte Graphite colour. The Gravity Edition is available in Pearl White, Aurora Black Pearl, and Matte Graphite colour options.
