Part 4 from our honeymoon weekend on Minnesota's North Shore!

Some highlights from our time in and around Grand Marais, MN on Jan 2, 2021!

We walked along the frozen shore of Lake Superior on a windy day at Grand Marais Harbor and Artists Point and watched the incredible waves crash against the rocks and ice! The power and beauty of this Great Lake is a sight to see! We may have possibly spotted a Bernie hanging out on a rock also! Lol!

Our next stop was at Fall River Falls which is just outside of Grand Marais along highway 61 as you head south. We were able to park along the highway and trailblaze a path through the snow down to the bike trail to check out this frozen fall.

Our final stop was Cascade River State Park. We hiked the path to the falls which is a short but fun trail and spent some time walking along the river before making our way back.
Overall the area is beautiful with lots of great things to see and do no matter the season!
