Normally, I’d recommend replacement with this many chipped restorations, but the patient will eventually need much more extensive restorative treatment so we opted for a repair using thin ceramic fragments as an interim solution. Repairs like this are seamless and predictable, and they can even last a long time. However, if the nail-biting habit isn’t addressed, the issue will definitely return with more chipping again.
