This works great! This was incredibly easy to set up out of the box and does come with instructions if needed. I put this on a bike and went for an 8-mile ride with zero issues. I forgot to lock it for a bit, but this Hiboy phone mount held my smartphone with no problems at all. I was on a mostly paved route, but there were several rough spots and bridges along the way. I've had phones bounce out of a pocket on this route before, so it was good to know the phone was being held well by this device. The lock/unlock switch is easy to move and there's enough strength in the springs that it keeps everything in place. The winner on this is the way it mounts allows you to take the holder with you and use it as a phone stand, or switch it to another bike with no issues. This Hiboy Bike Phone Holder is great in that it's so quickly removed for transporting and storing bikes as well. A few twists of the mount and it was on or off and held solidly as well. This is mostly plastic, but I put it on and took it off a few bikes and it did not feel cheaply made or flimsy and held well with three different model bikes and phones.
