The Supreme Court of India has stepped in to resolve the crisis in Indian football. ⚖️⚽

The court has appointed Justice L Nageswara Rao (former SC judge) to oversee the tender process for selecting a new commercial partner for the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

This comes after FSDL (Football Sports Development Limited) – organisers of the Indian Super League (ISL) – put the 2025–26 season on hold due to uncertainty over renewing the Master Rights Agreement (MRA) with AIFF.
