How to Set Up a Cabela's Westwind Tent

Step 1:
-Lay the tent body flat on the ground with the door facing you.
-Loosely stake out all corners through loop at end of the webbing. Insert stakes into ground at 45 degree angle facing away from tent center.
Step 2 (4- and 6-Person only tents)
-Lay two tent poles over body to form a X, align with clips that have black webbing and attach clips to poles.
For the 8 person tent, slide the poles into the sleeves on the body of the tent.
-Insert pins into the ends of the poles, then attach clips with black webbing.
Step 3:
-Place pole into side pins and clip along the gray nylon straps on the back of the tent. Repeat this step for the last pole on the front side of the tent.
-Reset the stakes for a secure and symmetrical fit.
Step 4:
-Drape the rain fly over the tent body with the large vestibule over the door.
-Attach S-hooks on the rain fly at each corner to the metal O-rings on the tent.
Step 5:
-Run the pole through the vestibule sleeve and insert ends into webbing pockets. Unzip the vestibule door to easily access the pole sleeve.
-Secure the top of the vestibule and zip up the door.
-Stake out the corners of the vestibule through the webbing straps.
Step 6:
-Stake out the guy lines and adjust them to secure the tent.
