Founder of The Specials & 2Tone records, Jerry Dammer, appeared at The Abbeydale Picture House in Sheffield. This was a closely guarded secret. The evening was set, with music supplied by Trojan Explosion DJ duo, Hank & Greg, with a viewing of the film, followed by Trojan Explosion to finish. Then you heard the filmgoers come to life as the reality sank in, a wave of noise escorted The General through the crowd. This was an evening to remember. Sitting close to the front, with a pizza on his lap, surrounded by the people his idea influenced. This is one of only two screenings Jerry is doing. If being here wasn't enough, he also took too the decks to finish the night off.
