Bibbulmun track part 18 - Denmark to Torbay – Snakes & gales! – thru hike end-to-end

Описание к видео Bibbulmun track part 18 - Denmark to Torbay – Snakes & gales! – thru hike end-to-end

We eventually find a way to get ourselves from Denmark to Nullaki. What follows are two days of great adventure complete with bush bashing through overgrown tracks that grab at the gaiters, gale force winds knocking us over on dune crests and peaks, and Kath losing her snake-blindness in a spectacular fashion. In between, there’s some joking with Bob, paddling in the cold crystal-clear Southern Ocean, and a glimpse of Kath’s parents in their dressing gowns. Sorry Mum & Dad – love you loads!!

The Bibbulmun Track is a beloved 1003km (623mile) trail in Western Australia stretching from Kalamunda to Albany. Our hike commenced in October and finished in December 2020.

We would like to pay our respect to the traditional custodians of this land - Noongar (Minang) Boodja and acknowledge elders past, present and emerging. It is a great privilege to walk on this ancient country; land which was never ceded.
