Donut Media MADE ME buy a PT Cruiser! Facebook Marketplace score!

There are some cars out there that are hidden gems, for one reason or another they have been slept on and poorly appreciated. That also usually means you can buy them for a good deal. The PT Cruiser GT is exactly that kind of hidden gem! Essentially the exact same car as the much more popular Dodge Neon SRT-4, sporting the same 2.4 Turbo motor AND available in a manual transmission. However, being in an extremely ugly body they are much less sought after. Also usually owned by old people.

I've been hunting on Facebook Marketplace for weeks for one to buy at a good price, as a donor car for another project. Unfortunately a recent Donut Media PT Cruiser video just came out which forced my hand, made me buy one NOW before the value goes up. One important reality is, just because it's a rare car, doesn't mean it's a VALUABLE car. However, if there are 10-15 other people in my same area looking for the same car, well it goes up. Buying a car on Facebook Marketplace is already annoying enough as it is with people ghosting, Facebook Marketplace Scams, and all sorts of other issues. So, I jumped on this one. Well technically I jumped on it twice. But dang it I got the car!

Is this going to be a PT Cruiser GT build? Well, you'll just have to watch and find out!
