Xylon demonstrates a reference design for a real-time video rotation with very low latency, which can a bit longer than one frame time in case of synchronous video input and output. The reference design is designed by standard Xylon's evaluation logicBRICKS IP cores and targets the Xilinx Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC ZC702 Evaluation Kit expanded by the Digilent FMC-HMI adapter board which contains a 2 Mpixel CMOS digital image sensor, 5" LCD with resolution 800x480, and touchscreen interface.

Video rotation engine is implemented in programmable logic, works with no help from integrated processor cores and can be implemented in Xilinx FPGAs. Graphics HMI is overlaid over the processed video and enables dynamic changes of the rotation angle.
