About the Story Arts Centre:
The Story Arts Centre — home to Centennial College's School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design — opened in the fall of 1994 as a campus dedicated to digital media and is home to communications, media, art, design, advertising, public relations, journalism, integrated media, culture, entertainment, and performing arts programs.

The campus has a storied past. It was originally built as the Toronto Teachers College and achieved worldwide fame as the setting for 'Degrassi High', one of Canada's longest running and most successful television productions, which was filmed on location from 1989 to 1991.
