UK riots: Starmer's warning goes unheard as police to face over 100 protests

Thousands of UK police ready as rioters warned they will be dealt with quickly. The UK braces itself for a night of possible violence and riots as far-right groups plan protests in numerous cities across the UK.

The protests were sparked after the murder of three young girls in Southport in July, where misinformation was spread about the identity of the killer.

Britain is on the brink as far-right thugs plot another day of devastation across the UK, with messages circulating online pinpointing 18 locations, with speculation that the true figure is more than 30. In London, workers in the City of London have apparently been told to leave work early.

Starmer pledged to keep communities safe following a Cobra meeting as police prepare for further violence.
