harvard housing day 2020 freshman year vlog ! virtual housing day !

housing day is an annual event at harvard where upperclassmen storm harvard yard to tell freshmen where they will be living the next three years. it takes place every march. it was postponed which was disappointing since it is a huge tradition at harvard. i vlogged my thoughts on what was happening and the whole virtual housing day experience! the morning of housing day is a day of friendly rivalry and great spirit normally it is filled with upperclassmen gathering in the yard, dressed up, cheering and screaming, and making noise. groups of upperclassmen from twelve houses run around, storming into dorms and delivering letters to blocking groups. sadly we didn't get the whole in person experience… but we did win the housing lottery !!!! ;))) and that's the tea ! the 12 upperclassmen houses at harvard are adams, cabot, currier, dunster, eliot, kirkland, leverett, lowell, mather, pforzheimer, quincy and winthrop.
