जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज

जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज (बाल्यकाल का नाम 'राम कृपालु त्रिपाठी') का जन्म 05 अक्टूबर,1922 को शरद पूर्णिमा की पावन रात्रि को, प्रयागराज के निकट, कुंडा तहसील के मनगढ़ नामक ग्राम में हुआ। वही छोटा सा ग्राम, मनगढ़ आज पूरे विश्व में भक्ति धाम-मनगढ़ के नाम से जाना जाता है।

आप बचपन से ही अत्यंत मेधावी थे, परन्तु उस समय किसी ने यह अनुमान नहीं लगाया था कि यह बालक आगे चल कर विश्व का पंचम मूल जगद्गुरु बनेगा और राधे नाम की महिमा का दुनिया के हर कोने में प्रचार करेगा।

इन्हें काशी विद्वत् परिषत् द्वारा 14 जनवरी, सन् 1957 में जगद्गुरूत्तम की मूल उपाधि से विभूषित किया गया। इन्हें दी गयी अनेकों उपाधियों में, 'भक्तियोगरसावतार' एक प्रमुख उपाधि थी। और इस प्रकार आरम्भ हुआ आध्यात्मिक जगत के उस स्वर्णिम काल का जब प्रेम व भक्ति के अत्यन्त सरल और सहज स्वरूप से संसार का परिचय हुआ । जब शास्त्रों-वेदों के अत्यन्त कठिन ज्ञान ने मानो अति सरल रूप ले लिया हो। और यह सब केवल और केवल जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज के परिश्रम का ही परिणाम है।

इन्होनें 'प्रेम रस मदिरा', 'प्रेम रस सिद्धांत' और 'राधा गोविन्द गीत' जैसे अनेक दिव्य ग्रंथों की रचना की जो संपूर्ण विश्व को भक्ति करने की सही राह दिखा रहे हैं। विश्व को दी गयी अनमोल धरोहरों में वृन्दावन धाम स्थित प्रेम मंदिर, बरसाना धाम स्थित -कीर्ति मंदिर और भक्ति धाम मनगढ़ स्थित भक्ति मंदिर भी शामिल हैं। यह भव्य और दिव्य मंदिर, भक्ति गाथा को पूरे विश्व में फैला रहे हैं।

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj (birthname 'Ram Kripalu Tripathi') took birth on the holy night of Sharad Purnima October 5, 1922 in a small village named Mangarh near Prayagraj, Kunda. The village of Mangarh is now known to the world as Bhakti Dham, Mangarh.

Shri Maharaj Ji was an extremely studious and meritorious student since childhood. Even so, no one could have predicted that this child would one day become the fifth original Jagadguru of this age and would spread the glorious name of Shri Radhe to each and every corner of the world.

The original title of Jagadguruttam ( ‘Greatest Spiritual Leader of the World' ) was bestowed upon Shri Maharaj Ji on January 14, 1957 by the 'Kashi Vidvat Parishat' (a council of 500 greatest scholars & saints of India). Among the many titles that were given to Shri Maharaj Ji, 'Bhakti-Yoga-Ras-Avatara' was a prominent one. Shri Maharaj Ji simplified the complex knowledge of the Scriptures and the Vedas. Thus, the world was introduced to the easiest form of love and devotion as a result of the hard work of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.

Shri Maharaj Ji composed many divine texts like 'Prem Ras Madira', 'Prem Ras Siddhant' and 'Radha Govind Geet' which lead all seekers on the right path of devotion. Shri Maharaj Ji also stood up priceless monuments as a gift to the world which includes  - Prem Mandir located in Vrindavan Dham, Kirti Mandir Located in Barsana Dham and Bhakti Mandir located in Bhakti Dham - Mangarh. These grand and divine temples are spreading the message of pure devotion across the globe.
