Full Circle Moments in Key West!

I first met James Slater when I was just 18 years old, fresh off the bus in Nashville, chasing a dream. Life has a beautiful way of bringing things full circle — this year, I’ve even had the honor of writing music with James, and now we’re reconnecting here in one of the most magical places, Key West!

We spent the day soaking up the island life with our good friends Blake and Richard Hatch, the legendary owner of Blue Heaven (one of our all-time favorite spots!). There’s nothing like good company, good music, and a little Key West sunshine to make you feel at home.

James isn’t just an incredible friend — he’s a Grammy-nominated songwriter who’s written for some of the biggest names in music, including Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Luke Combs, Rascal Flatts, Chris Young, Hootie & the Blowfish, Old Dominion, Keith Urban, Alabama, Enrique Iglesias, Jamey Johnson, Reba McEntire, and many more!
