The Citroen Basalt is a coupe SUV which enters the competitive mid-size SUV segment. Built on the same CMP platform as the C3 Aircross and C3, the Basalt marks the fourth model in Citroën's C-Cubed lineup in India. It's offered in both manual and automatic transmission options, paired with either a 1.2-litre natasp engine or a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. While sharing elements like the steering wheel, digital cluster, and infotainment system with the C3 Aircross, the Basalt stands out with a refreshed interior, featuring automatic AC, winged headrests, and adjustable thigh support for the rear seats. We take the turbo-petrol variant with a 6-speed automatic gearbox for a spin to see if this stylish coupe SUV drives as well as it looks.
