Inversions are a fundamental part of learning to play piano for every beginner. They're useful for any style you're learning to help you get familiar with the keyboard and understand how to begin playing chords in different ways. We want to get them fluent eventually so we can use them easily but the first step is to understand them properly, be able to figure them out and learn the basic music theory
