रूस-यूक्रेन जंग के बीच पीएम मोदी ने रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन से फोन पर बातचीत की है. पीएम मोदी की यह बातचीत इसलिए भी अहम है, क्योंकि वह हाल में ही जेलेंस्की से मिलकर आए हैं. इससे पहले अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन ने पीएम मोदी को फोन किया था और यूक्रेन के हालिया दौरे के बारे में जाना था. पीएम मोदी ने कहा, ‘आज राष्ट्रपति पुतिन से बात हुई. विशेष और विशेषाधिकार प्राप्त रणनीतिक साझेदारी को और मजबूत करने के उपायों पर चर्चा की गई. रूस-यूक्रेन संघर्ष और यूक्रेन की हालिया यात्रा पर मेरी अंतर्दृष्टि पर विचारों का आदान-प्रदान हुआ. संघर्ष के शीघ्र, स्थायी और शांतिपूर्ण समाधान का समर्थन करने के लिए भारत की दृढ़ प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday and shared insights from his recent visit to Ukraine. He also reiterated India’s stance on the Russia-Ukraine war. The prime minister recalled his successful visit to Russia last month to participate in the 22nd India-Russia Bilateral Summit. The two leaders reviewed progress on several bilateral issues and discussed measures to further strengthen the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia. They also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest. The two leaders exchanged views on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Prime Minister shared insights from his recent visit to Ukraine. He underlined the importance of dialogue and diplomacy as well as sincere and practical engagement between all stakeholders to achieve an abiding and peaceful resolution of the conflict. The duo agreed to remain in touch.
