Elburg: the perfect stop on a day trip from Amsterdam to Giethoorn?!?! Off the beaten path in Europe

Elburg, with over 600 monuments this is one of the most picturesque towns and well-kept secrets in The Netherlands. The town is located about 80km from Amsterdam, in the North-Western parth of the province of "Gelderland". It's also not far from the popular tourist trap "Giethoorn". Most international tourists would go to the latter. Therefore, I can easily recommend taking a stop in Elburg as it isn't overrun by international tourists yet. Let me show you another off the beaten path destination in one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, Elburg!
