✔ Effective Sterilization: E. coli bacteria were eliminated in 40 minutes using N₂ microwave afterglows at 60°C, while an industrial reactor (Plasmalyse) sterilized B. Stearo spores in just 30 minutes at 80°C.
✔ Sterilizing Medical Instruments: Plasma-treated nitrogen atoms successfully traveled through hollow tubes, showing potential for sterilizing complex devices like endoscopes.
✔ Industrial-Scale Success: A 100-liter reactor was developed to bring this technology to real-world applications.
