Showcasing how I earned the "Kaboom!" achievement in Fable III at Fort Mortar. My final score was: 2170, which beat my previous score of 1990.

Some things to take note of:
-You can only access the Fort Mortar game after having purchased the fort itself in Mourningwood, which is only after you've completed defending it during the storyline. Roughly 35-40k for the purchase.
-The Fort itself does not add to any of your 5 minute profits like houses and businesses. Only buy it if you care for earning the achievement, and a Legendary weapon.
-You are awarded 10 Gamerscore plus the "Kaboom!" achievement upon obtaining 2000 points in the game, as well as a Legendary weapon. I earned the pistol: Briar's Blaster.
-Note that you only get the Legendary weapon if you score 2000+ while SOLO.
-Playing the game on Co-Op with a partner makes earning the achievement MUCH easier. Your score and the person playing with you will have your scores added together in the end.
