Halagi is a very rare instrument belongs to folk Music. In Maharashtra it use during "Kushti" (Wrestling matches) and also in Wedding ceremony.
I got this Halgi dance video in my friend's wedding ceremony, Here Halgi is played by famous Halgi player Mr.Raju Awale. Mr. Raju Awale's family playing this rare instrument from last 10 generations.
Halgi's references are getting from 15th centuries. it is a musical link of our EXTINCT tradition and we have to preserve it.
