8 months since the previous, time for a hopefully quick update video on the status of the channel, the schedule for the rest of the year and why I have not been producing as much YT content compared to Twitch.

Work/life balance is something I have struggled with for a very long time now and only recently have I got it into a place where I'm sort of happy with it. But as a result, something's gotta give. When I am not working, someone else is. I used to use that as a motivator: every second that I am not working, someone else is working, so you should be working too. It's not so much that I can't keep up that pace, so much as I value my time differently nowadays. I still work about 40-60 hours a week depending on what's happening, but that pales in comparison to how much I used to work during the week.

I know this isn't completely true, but I feel like I'm getting phased out simply because I can't devote as much time anymore compared to other people. Maybe my role on Youtube or in the community should evolve towards something else, like what's happened over the past year. I want to make sure I stay one of the best sources for Destiny content on Youtube and Twitch. I just need to find the time for that.

It's weird. June has been a top 10 month for me both in terms of viewership on YT and income (we'll hit over 6 million views in the month, the last time I hit that kind of viewership outside of a September release was with Warmind, which was still kind of a big deal for Destiny), same with Twitch. Yet, I feel like I'm contributing among the least amount of content that I have in a long time.
