We started our day a little late, but it turned into the perfect festive mission! After a delicious lunch of roast beef sandwiches (that were basically gourmet burgers!), we headed to Canadian Tire to find some last-minute holiday deals. We finally found exactly what we were looking for: a 7-foot skinny Christmas tree!

The "skinny" style is perfect for saving space, and we got it at a great price. We also grabbed some wreaths, car supplies, and even cookie cutters for some holiday baking! Before heading home, we shared a cozy coffee at Tim Hortons and explored a Walmart with a totally different layout than our usual spot. We wrapped up the night with a KFC dinner and the best part—setting up the tree!
