Call of Hill-partridge was something that snatched my mind from this world to another. I didn't saw the bird but it was calling from a nearer cluttered bush down the hilly slopes. The call hypnotized me for a few minutes. It reminded me of the melodious flute sound of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
